Council Workshops and Meetings

City Council will hold two (2) Workshops each month.  Workshops will be held on the first (1st.) Wednesdays of every month and the Third Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the New Carrollton Municipal Center. These meetings are open to the public, click here for the complete Meeting Schedule.

All official City Meetings are usually held at the New Carrollton Municipal Center and are open to the public. Call-in questions and comments are accepted during the meetings at designated times at (301) 715-8592. Those individuals with hearing impairments should call MD State Relay Service For sign language interpretation, at 800-745-2258.

The Council meetings will be broadcasted live on our cable channels (Comcast channel 71 and Verizon FIOS channel 30). Note that while the City continues to address the COVID-19 pandemic, all meetings will be hybrid  and can be attended virtually. Recordings of the meetings can be found under Council Meeting Videos under Government tab on the main menu.
