If you own or operate a business in the City of New Carrollton, you are required to have a City License along with a Prince George's County and State of Maryland licenses. 

Business License fees are currently $110. They may be paid via check, money order, or major credit card (credit cards accepted in person only).

Childcare Business License Application

A rental license is required to rent residences in the City. There are two types of rental applications.

RENTAL DWELLING

A structure being occupied or intended to be occupied by a single family and/or individual(s) who are not the legal owners of record of the property such as an apartment, condo or home where the owner does not reside. 

Rental Dwelling License fees are currently $200. They may be paid via check, money order, or major credit card (credit cards accepted in person only).

RENTAL UNIT

A single-family dwelling where the owner resides therein and a portion of said dwelling is rented to a third party not a member of the owner's immediate family.

Rental Unit License fees are currently $150. They may be paid via check, money order, or major credit card (credit cards accepted in person only).
