PROPER DISPOSAL OF HAZARDOUS MATERIALS

A) Individuals who must use syringes are to dispose of them in a capped hard container with a lid (i.e. hard plastic containers such a empty laundry detergent, bleach or milk jugs, glass or metal bottles, can or jars, etc.) prior to placing them into their trash for collection.

B) Poisons, acids, caustics, explosives, wet paint, fluorescent bulbs and similarly dangerous materials require special handling.
