Contest Rules

Contest open to homes and apartment balconies with New Carrollton addresses only.

Nominations will be accepted beginning Friday, November 18, 2022.

An entry form must be received for the decoration to be judged. Entries must be received by the City Administrative Office by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022.

Entries will only be accepted in person, by mail or web submission. Telephone entries will not be accepted.

Judging will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. Holiday lights and Decorations must be turned on prior to the start of the judging.

Prizes will be awarded to the winning homes/balconies.

Winners will be notified by phone on Friday, December 16, 2022.

Photos of winning decorations will be posted on the City’s website and Cable Channel 71/Channel 30.

Prizes will be awarded at the City Council Legislative Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
